Genesis G90 Trim Comparison

What are the G90 trim levels?

The G90 may not have as many trim levels as other Genesis models, but it does offer two distinct trims. The biggest difference between these trims is performance, although there are plenty of other upgrades as well. The 3.5T AWD is fitted with the 3.5L V6 T-GDI engine, while the 3.5T E-SC MHEV AWD also uses the 3.5L V6 T-GDI but includes a 48V e-Supercharger. Take a look at the Genesis G90 trim comparison below as we detail the upgrades for each trim, highlight the key features, and analyze overall performance. Upgrades generally include improved interior materials, enhanced performance, advanced technology, and added comfort features. Our goal is to ensure that when you leave our Genesis dealership, you feel confident that you have made the best decision for your budget and are thrilled about your new Genesis G90!

What comes standard with all G90 models?

It's probably better to question what doesn't come standard on a G90. The seating in the front is about as deluxe as you can get with power controls, heating/ventilation, massage, a memory system, and power bolsters all wrapped up in Nappa leather. You won't find much better out there. Technology offers plenty of features you would expect from a luxury sedan, like the dual 12.3-inch screens, wireless charger, and surround view monitor. It also offers completely unique options like the mood curator that uses lighting, music, and even scents to set a mood. Features like the power door closure, power folding mirror with the Genesis logo puddle lamp, and antibacterial compartment to clean your phone all come standard on the G90. The standard 3.5L V6 T-GDI engine produces plenty of power with 375 horsepower and 391 lb.-ft. of torque. Overall, you're not going to find better base options than this, and it's completely reasonable to stay at this trim. For current pricing on the G90 3.5T AWD, check out our inventory now.

Favorite standard feature of the 3.5T AWD

It is hard to narrow it down to only one feature, so we will lump the features of the front seat together. The ability to dial so many elements to preference and then have those preferences saved is a great feature. You can even use your fingerprint to store your specific profile.

Why you may want to upgrade to the 3.5T E-SC MHEV AWD

There are two major changes for the highest trim of the G90. The upgrade to performance takes the G90 to another level, and the upgrades to the rear passenger seating make the rear seats feel like first class.

  • Compare G90 trims: 3.5T AWD vs. 3.5T E-SC MHEV AWD

While the 3.5T E-SC MHEV AWD has plenty of upgrades, the increase in performance stands out the most. The 3.5L V6 T-GDI engine has added a 48V e-Supercharger for this trim, which boosts the horsepower to a whopping 409 hp and the torque to 405 lb.-ft. On top of that, the suspension is upgraded to a multi-chamber air version for a well-rounded driving experience. The second major upgrade for this trim is to the rear seats. The standard heated seats on the lower trim get upgraded to heated/ventilation, massage, with an extendable leg rest and a memory system. Sitting in the rear will feel first class and makes every seat a great experience. Overall, the 3.5T E-SC MHEV AWD is as good as it gets for a Genesis sedan. For current pricing on the G90 3.5T E-SC MHEV AWD, check out our inventory now.

Our favorite added feature of the 3.5T E-SC MHEV AWD

This is a tough choice, as the rear passenger experience is so great, but we have to go for the upgrade to the engine. For a large sedan like the G90, having a 0-60 time in the low 5s is pretty great and makes for a thrilling driving experience.
