Interior updates:   The G90 has thoughtful touches at both levels of the interior and can even be compared to sitting in first class on a flight. It's the kind of vehicle that we love to see customers experience for the first time because there is a bit of a wow factor. Deluxe materials are used throughout the interior such as wood trim, metal buttons/knobs, microfiber suede headliner, and a leatherette-wrapped upper instrument panel. The acoustic laminated windshield as well as front and rear side windows are combined with active noise control for a serene driving experience. The standard Bang & Olufsen Premium Audio system, with either a 15 or 23-speaker configuration, ranges from fantastic to an audiophile's dream. The G90 also has so much tech that it is probably easier to write about the features that the G90 doesn't have rather than what it does. Both the front and rear offer seating options that will make you question whether you want to leave the G90 even when you've arrived at your destinations. All in all, the G90 is the total package and is worthy of competing with the best luxury sedans on the market today.

Technology:   The G90 offers all the tech you would expect plus some tech that you might not have even heard of. The driver is greeted by dual 12.3-inch screens, one as a digital driving display and the other as an infotainment screen in the center. The G90 has built-in entertainment as well as Android Auto/ Apple CarPlay. The only downside we can think of for the entire G90 interior is that the phone integration is through a cable instead of wireless. Drivers can also activate the mood curator which pairs adjustable interior ambient lighting with scents, unique music/sounds, and custom video that plays on the center screen. This is one place where the G90 truly separates itself from the also-rans. The G90 comes standard with a wireless charger in the front and is available in the back. It even offers an antibacterial area to place your phone that uses UV light to kill up to 99 percent of the germs on your device. Features that you usually have to pay extra for such as a head-up display or a surround view monitor also come standard on the G90. We appreciate that the G90 has an answer to just about any problem you may have.

Seating options:   Front seats on the G90 come standard with just about anything you can think of. Power adjustable with lumbar support? Check. Heated and Ventilated? Check. Integrated Memory System? Check. Front Seat Power Bolsters? Check. A Massage function with 3 different modes? Also Check. Comfort is the name of the game in the G90 and it completely delivers. But it's not just the front seats, the rear seats come standard with heating and if you upgrade to the 3.5T E-SC MHEV trim, add ventilation, integrated memory, and massage to the mix. The rear seats can even have elevating leg rests for maximum comfort. This might be the one vehicle where sitting in the back is even better than the front as it also offers power retractable rear and rear side sunshades. It might feel a bit like a Bentley but at a considerably more reasonable price.

Cargo and passenger space:   The G90 is in the full-size sedan category and can comfortably fit adult passengers in the back seat. While it can easily seat all 5 we would recommend only four passengers to get the most of the great tech and features offered in the rear. With 42.3 inches of legroom in the front and 37.8 inches in the rear, the G90 is designed to meet most passenger needs. The trunk offers 12.04 or 10.59 cubic feet of storage depending on trim which is not the biggest out there, but it can handle 3-4 large suitcases. Most people will have enough space needed for normal day-to-day life. Overall, the space of the G90 is all geared towards passenger comfort and it succeeds in spades.

Design updates:   We were thrilled when Genesis redesigned the G90 a few years ago as they took a great-looking vehicle and made everything more streamlined. The G90's grille received an update with the new Crest design and the dual-line headlights, now thinner, have been enhanced to include micro-lens array lighting, which outperforms traditional LEDs. The new clamshell hood design consists of a single panel that merges the hood and fenders, creating a sleeker appearance than the previous G90. If you take a look at the lower front end, you'll see more aggressively styled intake ports as well. The G90's body has become sportier with athletic power lines on the fenders around the wheels as well as a parabolic line design that connects the front end to the rear.  Our favorite updates were to the rear of the G90. The Two-Line rear combination lamps are now elongated with the trunk which took the G90 from more classical luxury to a dynamic luxury style. Essentially, Genesis took the original G90 and made it fit better for the modern luxury shopper. We love the overall style of the G90 and we know you will too. 

Standout features:   The G90 provides two rim size options: 20-inch or 21-inch. We appreciate how well they enhance the overall design, ensuring that your choice of wheels won't force you to upgrade trims. The panoramic sunroof is a standard feature across all trims, allowing both front and rear passengers to use separate sunshades. Additionally, power-folding side mirrors are standard on every trim, allowing for easier entry and exit from the G90 in confined spaces. The mirrors also project the Genesis logo near the front doors, illuminating your path at night. The G90 simplifies entry and exit with a button that automatically opens and power-closes the front doors which is one of those features that doesn't sound like much but has a big impact on your day-to-day. Finally, a hands-free liftgate with a power-closing trunk is standard on both G90 models.
